History of Remington Seeds
Here is our journey...
1984 - Remington Seeds was founded and the construction of the first corn drying facility in Remington, IN was completed
1990 - A second corn plant was constructed in Sturgis, MI
1992 - Corn conditioning and warehousing was added in Remington, IN
1995-96 - Remington Seeds expands into soybean seed, wheat seed and small lot corn production. Acquired facilities in Geneseo, Lincoln and Ridgway IL
1997 - Moved into the western corn belt and acquired facilities in Eldora, Harlan and Vinton, IA with a separate warehouse facility in Manilla, IA
1999 - Continued to expand corn facilities in Milford, IL and Lebanon, IN and added an additional soybean and wheat facility in Greenville, OH
2000 - Added a corn facility in Williams, IA
2001 - Expanded into Minnesota by adding a soybean facility in Olivia and a corn facility in Hastings
2003 - Added Alfalfa conditioning and treating equipment to Hastings, MN. Constructed a new soybean facility in Mapleton, ND
2004 - Acquired additional corn facilities in DeWitt and Mt Pleasant, IA and Congerville, IL
2005 - Acquired a corn facility in Hastings, NE
2006 - Acquired corn facilities in Flora and Francesville, IN and Bloomington, IL. Also acquired a soybean facility in Dike, IA
2007 - Acquired a second soybean and wheat facility in Flora, IN and added centralized warehousing in Ankeny and DeWitt, IA
